SPECIAL FEATURE



Double Jump
Same deal as Rena's, but he'll still do his aerial normal attack.

Throwing Needles
He can deploy throwing ice needles that inflicts Frozen status for a few seconds (think Aisha's burning fireballs). The range is shorter than Rena's arrow shots but he's able to throw in spreads.

Shadow Hide
By doing certain moves he can hide in his shadow and then moves forward undetected and unharmed. He'll go out of it when he jumps or falls off a ledge. Doing this gradually drains his MP by 5 per second. He cannot attack while doing this.

Break Operation/Forced Halt
For every 10 hits done, he'll fill one unit of a special gauge. By consuming one unit, pressing Z and X at the same time in the middle of any combo moves and (special) actives will allow him to break the animation and revert to idle standing pose (or falling down, if you're in midair). You can freely attack afterward with a combo or a skill. If you break a skill with this, 20% of the MP used for the skill will be recovered as well. Holds a maximum of 6 units in said gauge.

Basic Physical Defense Training (Passive, common for all characters)
Master: Lv 5
Description: Permanently increases physical defense.
-> In order of mastery level: +5, +10, +15, +20, +25

Glacier Blast (Special Active)
Master: Lv 5
MP usage: 100MP
Description: Delivers a short-ranged blast of ice. Knocks enemy backwards.
Hits: 3; Cooldown: 5 sec
Magical damage in order of mastery level (x3): 245%, 288%, 343%, 379%, 417%

Shadow Strangle (Active)
Master: Lv 3
MP usage: 60MP
Description: Sends a shadowy figure of Cipher forward that, upon hitting the enemy, will stun them in place. Only works against non-stoic enemies (i.e when they aren't super armored).
Hits: 1; Cooldown: 7 sec
In order of mastery level:
-> Physical damage: 150%, 200%, 250%
-> Stun time: 2 sec, 3 sec, 4 sec


5 SP skills

Basic Magical Defense Training (Passive, common for all characters)
Master: Lv 5
Description: Permanently increases magical defense.
-> In order of mastery level: +5, +10, +15, +20, +25

Shadow Scraper (Special Active)
Master: Lv 5
MP usage: 150MP
Description: After he augments himself with his shadow, he does an upward claw swing with his arm elongated by his shadow. Knocks enemies upward. Short-to-mid range (Think 5-6 person standing on a row)
Hits: 1; Cooldown: 10 sec
Physical damage in order of mastery level: 818%, 1024%, 1263%, 1430%, 1649%
Skill Note: "Preemptive Strike"
-> The move is divided into 2 parts: a normal claw upper slash that always do 300% physical damage regardless of skill level, and then the actual shadow claw attack. This allows for quicker followup after the skill.


10 SP skills

Basic Physical Offense Training (Passive, common to all characters; requires Basic Physical Defense Training mastered)
Master: Lv 5
Description: Permanently increases physical attack power.
-> In order of mastery level: +15, +30, +45, +60, +75

Mass Freeze (Special Active, requires Glacier Blast mastered)
Master: Lv 5
MP usage: 200MP
Description: Sends out waves of 4 small ice spikes (as tall as him) to each side of him that freeze enemies in place; Upon Awakening, the move adds 1 more ice spike to each side and has additional 15% chance of causing Frozen status.
Hits: 1; Cooldown: 10 sec
In order of mastery level:
-> Magical damage: 759%, 890%, 1031%, 1174%, 1262%
-> Frozen status chance: 9%, 18%, 27%, 36%, 45%
Skill Note: "Back to the Ice Ages"
-> Increases the height of the ice spikes, and the move has a 25% chance to deal a second hit. The amount of ice spikes are reduced into 3 for each side.


15 SP skills

Basic Magical Offense Training (Passive, common to all characters; requires Basic Magical Defense Training mastered)
Master: Lv 5
Description: Permanently increases magical attack power.
-> In order of mastery level: +15, +30, +45, +60, +75

Shadow Projection (Active)
Master: Lv 1
MP usage: 20MP; will gradually eat 10MP per seconds until deactivated
Description: Cipher ejects his shadow away, and then you can assume control of the shadow. Shadow Cipher can move around and is intangible (attacks will pass through it) and can retrieve items, but cannot attack by itself. Press the skill button again to make Cipher teleport to the place the shadow was standing on, and you assume the control of Cipher again. Cipher himself is stuck at the place he's standing when the skill is activated; if he's being attacked in this state, the shadow will retreat back to him. Has a limited, but long range of movement.
Cooldown: 10 sec
Skill Note: "Shadow Harrasser"
-> Allows the shadow to damage enemies slightly when phasing through them and increase the running speed of the shadow. Initial MP usage increased into 30MP.


20 SP skills

Power Accelerator (Buff, common to all characters)
Master: Lv 3
MP usage: 70 MP
Physical attack damage increase: 20%
Cooldown: 10 sec
Buff duration in order of mastery level: 25 sec, 30 sec, 35 sec

Organ Strike (Special Active)
Master: Lv 5
MP usage: 100MP
Description: 2 strong claw strikes followed by a kick that knocks enemy away (KD). Causes Bleeding status.
Hits: 3; Cooldown: 5 sec
In order of mastery level:
-> 2 slashes damage (physical): 255%, 314%, 379%, 436%, 495%
-> Kick damage (physical): 200%, 250%, 300%, 350%, 400%
-> Critical hit chance: 20%, 20%, 40%, 40%, 60%
-> Bleeding status chance: 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%
Skill Note: "Continuation of Brutality"
-> The last kick will have a 30% chance of not knocking down, allowing for additional attacks.


25 SP skills

Defense Accelerator (Buff, common to all characters)
Master: Lv 3
MP usage: 70 MP
Physical/magical defense increase: 30%
Cooldown: 10 sec
Buff duration in order of mastery level: 25 sec, 30 sec, 35 sec

Magic Accelerator (Buff, common to all characters)
Master: Lv 3
MP usage: 70 MP
Magical attack damage increase: 20%
Cooldown: 10 sec
Buff duration in order of mastery level: 25 sec, 30 sec, 45 sec

Shadow Focus (Passive, requires mastery of Shadow Projection)
Master: Lv 4
Description: Increases the maximum coverage range of the ejected shadow (normally 20 meters), and decreases MP usage per second.
In order of mastery level:
-> Range coverage addition (in meters): +5, +10, +15, +20
-> MP usage decrease: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%


30 SP skills

Northwind (Special Active)
Master: Lv 5
MP usage: 250MP
Description: Cover a certain distance ahead of you with shadow spikes that emerges from the ground that binds enemies in place and then unleash a small stream of cold air and ice needles. If there's a wall or a ledge in front of you, the shadow spikes will stop there, but the blizzard will still go into its full range. This move will push enemies backward except for the super-armored ones.
Max hits: 1 (shadow spikes) + 20-24 (blizzard); Range: about 4-5 meters; Cooldown: 30 sec
In order of mastery level:
-> Shadow spikes damage (physical): 153%, 197%, 235%, 272%, 319%
-> Blizzard damage (magical): 55%, 66%, 77%, 88%, 99%
-> Chance of Frozen status: 36%, 42%, 48%, 54%, 60%

Organ Shredder (Special Active, requires Organ Strike mastered)
Master: Lv 5
MP usage: 300MP
Description: He does a lunging strike with his left claw and holds the enemy in place with it, then he stabs said enemy with his right claw multiple times, then finally he does a final swipe with his left claw that knocks away the opponent. Upon Awakening, aside from the move becoming faster, the moves adds a few strikes with multiple shadow claws before the finishing attack. Always causes Bleeding status. If the first strike misses, the entire move won't be performed. This move can still work on super-armored enemies, but beware if you actually want to do that, as Cipher is vulnerable during the entire move (except for the initial strike).
Hits: 10 (16 in Awk); Cooldown: 30 sec
In order of mastery level:
-> First strike damage (physical): 332%, 395%, 463%, 525%, 568%
-> Multiple jabs damage (physical x8): 110%, 140%, 170%, 200%, 230%
-> Shadow claws damage (magical x6, Awk only): 156%, 195%, 234%, 273%, 312%
-> Final strike damage (physical): 409%, 558%, 635%, 714%, 796%, 851%
-> Critical chance: 25%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 45%


35 SP skills

Flying Claw (Active)
Master: Lv 5
MP usage: 15MP
Description: Cipher does a straight lunging attack with his claw. Can be done in midair and in 8 directions (hold directional button while pressing the skill button).
Hits: 1; cooldown: 6 sec
In order of mastery level:
-> Range (in meters): 3, 4, 5, 5, 5
-> Physical damage: 150%, 150%, 150%, 200%, 250%
Skill Note: "Repeated Assault"
-> Allows Cipher to do this a second time immediately after the first.
